Golden Bay Spa in Santa Cruz, California

Second review for this location. I've been to about ten since my last review. Trying to find a good one in Santa Cruz.
I received a really good massage, not such a good HE.
I also got the wobbly table. My table rocked, like a bad restaurant.
I wanted to get up and put a matchbook under the table leg.

Honestly, I wonder if they read these reviews.
There is a lot to be said for this line of work and I really sypathize with the girls, trying to make us compfortable while keeping the costs down.
A hot towell is for removing oil, and not for "smearing cold around".
The girl slips out, I can hear the sink running, supposedly for a hot towell. The water may have gotten warm, but not hot. Anyway, by the time she got to my back, the rag became cold and rather distracting. I like the places where they keep a fresh stash of towells i a crock pot.
Anyway, the HJ was more or less effective, but awkward.
I'll go back in the Summer and see if things have changed.
My tip was more or less for charity.

Massage Parlor Details: In a medical/office building...there's fairly easy street parking nearby if you don't want to park right out front!

Walked in the front door and was greeted by an older lady (50+) with a bad perm and too much make-up but there was younger woman (mid-20s) seated behind her--somewhat plain, but not bad--so I told the older woman that I wanted a massage. I should have insisted on the younger gal...wound up with a somewhat creepy massage and a marginal HE. I did return a month or so later to get a massage from the 25 yo, but there was no indication that anything other than an uninspired massage was on the menu. Wish there were a few more alternatives in town!

Massage Parlor Details: This one is easy to see in the daytime, but a little hard to find at night.

Fun girls, with happy attitude, but it must have been too close to quitting time.
It was really cold in the place.

Pretty sure HE was on the list, but I was really cold and could not enjoy the session. They had a small space heater in the room, but it didn't take the chill off. Massage was simple, I stripped right in front of her, which was odd. I thought she might leave the room, but she didn't.
Naked, and shivvering, I jumped up and she went to work. Dry... for a while. Then asked for oil and I said please.
Flip was funny...
She fumbled round and made it seem like I was supposed to do myself.
Anyway, I'll go back and see about turning up the heat.

Massage Parlor Details: Easy location, low profile. Typical medical/office bldg close to residential. Not much in this town so tried it.

When I first entered, she said she could only offer 30 min. Sorry that is too short for my taste. I always look/feel for massage technique first and gal was weak! Rubbed my back torso so hard with almost dry hands I thought a layer of epidermis was about to rub off. OUCH! She admired on the flip and talked alot. Took 1-2 phone calls (annoying) and left room once or twice (more annoying). Totallay distracted. Coco was cute and slapped my arse but overall pass on this place. Should have asked for FS. Will not be back. Come to think of it I cannot recall if I even got the HE I was looking for. This joint had a papasan hanging at front desk too. No thanks.
